Crown of Midnight Full Review

Crown of Midnight, (which I’ll refer to as CoM), was the second book in Sarah J. Maas’s hugely popular Throne of Glass series. I read both Throne of Glass, (ToG) and Assassin’s Blade and they were ok. AB was the prequel but I recommend reading it after ToG because of spoilers.
CoM was great! There was so much that made sense transitioning between the first book but it didn’t really pick up until the middle with Nehemia’s death. Archer was devious and mastermindy but not clever enough for Celaena.
Chaol and Celaena Starr a relationship and Dorian goes all envious of Chaol. Chaol and Celaena was way better to me than Dorian and Celaena.
The end was brutal. I knew Aelin was Celaena because I read some reviews (oops🤫). I was not expecting her to be fae however. I need to read Heir of Fire soon! My dad is reading it right now though so I have to wait.
